At the meeting, Professor Tahiri expressed Morocco's great interest in recovering the level in mathematics that its higher education students had a few years ago, and made it known that for this purpose Morocco considers it essential to catch up with all the technological advances with application to teaching that are already fully integrated in European countries.

Mr. Tahiri made clear his full support for the project from the Ministry and gave his approval to the proposal that the Ministry be part of the project as a partner entity. Its role would be twofold: on the one hand to contribute to the dissemination of the project and its results to all universities and higher education institutions in Morocco, and on the other hand to ensure the sustainability of the project (a point in which he was particularly interested) through the organization of training events based on the training structure developed by the project.
