Almeria airport is located fifteen minutes away from the city centre and six minutes away from the Campus of the University of Almería. The Almeria International Airport has regular and charter flights to several domestic (Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla) and European destinations (London, Brussels and Rotterdam). International visitors may also consider the possibility to come to Almeria via Malaga-Costa del Sol International Airport (224 kms) or via Alicante-Elche International Airport (278 kms). 

From the Almería airport there is the L30 bus line that goes to the Central Station (Estacion intermodal) in the heart of the city. On the urban bus service page https://www.surbusalmeria.es/linea/30) you can see the waiting time for a bus to arrive at each stop (click “HORARIOS”), and check that the bus is in direction to Almería (“Aeropuerto [dirección Almería]”). By clicking on the button "CONSULTAR TIEMPOS DE ESPERA" and in the corresponding bus stop you can see the time for the next bus passing by your bus stop.

At the Central Station you would have to take line L1 for the hotels located in the city centre (Paseo de Almería or Plaza de San Pedro) or line L2 to go to the hotels located on Avenida Mediterráneo.

From the organization of the symposium, we will make available to the participants a free service of 2 Shuttle Bus to link the two areas of the city where most of the hotels are concentrated (Paseo de Almería and Avenida Mediterráneo) with the Campus of the University of Almería which is 8 km from the centre of the city (15 min by car).
