  • por

The University of Almería hosts the final meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project, U-GREEN, aimed at spearheading ecological transition and empowering universities to catalyze behavioral change in a new generation of European citizens. This initiative seeks to disseminate and evaluate project outcomes nationally and internationally, offering guidance for educational institutions, U-Green certification, online training programs, and a virtual repository. Diego Vazquez-Brust, a leading expert in global business sustainability, delivered a keynote address on «Green Growth Transitions» at the event, highlighting the pivotal role of green growth in fostering a sustainable society. U-GREEN, funded by the Erasmus National Agency (SEPIE), comprises eight European higher education institutions and serves as the younger sibling of the European Alliance UNIgreen, sharing common goals and participants.
