José Carlos Moreno received an M.Sc. degree in computer science engineering (Hons.) in 1996 and a Ph.D. degree in 2003 from the University of Murcia. Since 1999 he has been a professor in the System Engineering and Automatic Control area of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Almería. He performs teaching tasks related to automatic control and robotics. He is also a researcher and member of the Automatic Control, Mechatronics, and Robotics Research Group. His current research interests are automatic control theory and robotics and their application to energetic, biological, and industrial environments.
