This is a standalone application to analyze interactively biological models for both only microalgae and the microalgae-bacteria consortium. Different simulation options available using experimental data as model inputs for the different seasons of year.

Matlab-based Simulation Tool for Raceway Photobioreactors
This is a free tool to simulate the whole dynamics behavior of a raceway photobioreactor. Open-loop simulations can be done based on experimental data from the different seasons of the year. Moreover, closed-loop simulations can be also performed by using different control approaches: on-off control, PID control or selective control, for both, pH and dissolved oxygen variables. Notice that this simulator includes are the balances of the process along the time and the space.

To run the simulator with the options as a standalone application, it is not required to have Matlab installed in the computer. However, the user needs to install the Matlab Runtime that can be download for free from the following website:
