V\u00e9ase la&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/gallery.bridgesmathart.org\/exhibitions\/2018-bridges-conference\/jlrodri\">ficha<\/a>&nbsp;en ingl\u00e9s .<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El gran icosaedro es uno de los 4 cuerpos de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/S%C3%B3lido_de_Kepler-Poinsot\">Kepler-Poinsot,<\/a>&nbsp;que son similares a los cuerpos plat\u00f3nicos, pero con caras regulares estrelladas (no convexas). Para construirlo en&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.virtualdor.com\/es\/NeoTrie-VR\/\">NeoTrie VR<\/a>, comenzamos a partir de un dodecaedro. Con la herramienta \u201cintersecci\u00f3n\u201d obtenemos las 12 puntas del poliedro estrellado (v\u00e9rtices de un icosaedro) cortando pares de aristas de las caras del dodecaedro. A continuaci\u00f3n, a\u00f1adimos las 30 aristas entre dichos v\u00e9rtices, y despu\u00e9s las 20 caras triangulares que conforman este poliedro estrellado.
