MEN COMPETITION

16 teams divided into 4 groups (A, B, C, D)

Group matches:
One against all (Total 24 matches,matches the number 1 to 24)

Knock out round (For places 1-8)

Point system for the group stage: 3 points for a win, 1 point each team draw and 0 points for a defeat.

Criteria for group matches: If two or more teams finish with equal points in the same group they will have to follow the criteria below:

a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
c) higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question;
d) if, after having applied criteria a) to c), two teams still have an equal ranking, criteria a) to c) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the two teams in question to determine their final rankings.
e) superior goal difference from all group matches played;
f) higher number of goals scored from all group matches played;

Duration of matches
Up to semifinals 35 minutes per half.
Semi-finals and final 45 minutes per half.
In all matches shall be 15 minutes rest.
In case of a tie in the knockout rounds of seat 3º -16º, directly launch of 5 penalties.
In case of tie in Semifinals and Final, extension will be made with two parts of 15 min.
If still tied in the semifinals and final, after extra time, release of 5 penalties.

Substitutions: Up to 5 substitutions for each team.

Points to consider:

  • The team named second on the match should change uniform if the referee decides.
  • The coaches choose the “best player” of the opponent team for the “best player” award upon completion of the game.
  • 30 minutes before each match the team´s head of the delegation must present to the referee the list of the players and must indicate the players names (in Capital Latin characters), and the number of the players.
  • Each player must have the same number during the Championship.

If a tie in the knock out rounds two 10 minutes halves
If still a tie after the extra time- 5 penalty kicks

Substitutions:  5 substitutions each team

Points to consider:

  • Coaches must choose the "best player" by opposing team's MVP award at the end of the game.
  • The team named second on the match should change uniform if the referee decides.
  • 30 minutes before each game the team leader must submit to referee the list of players and must indicate the names of the players (in capital Latin characters), the number of players and deliver the accreditation cards.
  • No offside.
  • Each player must have the same number during the Championship.
