Researcher of the IFAPA Institute in Almería. She obtained her degree in Biological Sciences and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Barcelona in 1994. Since 1986, she has coordinated several projects related to: the ecophysiological response of the crops to greenhouse climate control and the irrigation management in hydroponic systems to improve the water and fertilizer use efficiency. She has about 100 scientific-technical articles related to these topics and she has been director of 7 PhD Thesis.
