The Masters’ in Solar Energy will allow its graduates to deepen the various technologies and applications that currently exist for solar energy, unlike other universities that generally cover the entire range of renewable energies (solar, wind, hydraulic …). Likewise, one of the differentiating characteristics of this master is that most of its professors are well-known and recognized researchers from Plataforma Solar de Almeria, which is the main research center worldwide in solar concentration technologies, as well as its facilities and those of the CIESOL Mixed Center for the realization of practices.

The location in our province of the Plataforma Solar de Almeria (PSA), which bases its research on international activities and with global impact, constitutes an exceptional framework for the proposed master course, especially for the opportunity that represents a perfect environment for test the knowledge acquired in the Master.

The master is taught in Spanish, but the material is provided in English to those students without a good knowledge on Spanish, with the possibility of providing exercises, exams and other reports in English.

30 positions are offered annually, both for foreign and Spanish students. The master has students from many different countries: Spain, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Honduras, Perú, Morocco, Algeria, Libia, … so that the study environment is very welcoming and participatory.
