Publication types

Basic information for contributions

  • A single contribution per inscription is allowed, choosing one of these publishing options: 1. book chapter, 2. article or 3. article + book chapter.
  • All papers will be submit by a moodle platform. To access, participants must be previously enrolled. http://www2.ual.es/aulacpc/login/signup.php?lang=en
  • There are no limits of co-authors per paper.
  • In order to publish the paper all co-authors must pay the registration fees.
  • Participants in symposia can choose to publish their contributions as articles in the ISI journal or as book chapters.

Proposal types

Contributions may be submitted as different kind of proposals:

(a) Simposium/special session:

  • Each special session/symposium will be 90 minutes length, with approximately five panel members, who will be allowed 15 minutes each for their whole presentation and subsequent discussion.
  • Abstract proposals are expected to be sent by Moodle before March 30.
  •  Proposal description (abstract) must include:
  1. Short Curriculum Vitae of the coordinator (100-150 words)
  2.  Coordinator’s full name and the rest of the authors’.
  3. Brief summary of the special session/ symposium and all panels/communications’ titles (200-250 words).
  4. Photograph of the coordinator (ID type) in a .jpg file (optional).
  • Symposia meetings could be made attending on-site or trough an online event. Virtual Symposia will have the same value as in-person symposia and it will require making a 60 minutes video recording comprising 10 minutes for each member’s contribution that will be broadcast on the online event. Afterward, a discussion and debate forum section will be opened on Moodle platform.

(b) Papers and posters

  • Paper and posters proposals are expected to be sent by Moodle (http://www2.ual.es/aulacpc/login/index.php?lang=en). The deadlines are:
    • Abstracts Deadline= March 30 2018.
    • Full text deadline= May 20 2018
  • The full text documents of the proposals could be about a research paper or a debate document and must include the following information:
    1. Title.
    2. Author/s Name/s.
    3. Contact e-mail address.
    4. Theme field. Please bear in mind the main topics list.
    5. Regarding the content of research papers, they should be organized as introduction, objectives, methodology, results, conclusions and bibliography or following an equivalent structure. Regarding debate documents, they may include Antecedents, Object of Study, Evidence Sources, Main Argument, Conclusions and Bibliography or a equivalent structure.
  • A Scientific Committee will evaluate the received documents.
  • Conference Application: Once the contribution’s acceptance is notified by the Organizing Committee, the authors must enroll before May 20.
  • Only the contributions whose authors are enrolled will be shown and published.
  • Publishing: There are two options regarding publication:
    • European Proceedings of Social and Behavioural Sciences EpSBS (in perfect english)
    • ISBN Book
