Getting to Almeria

By road

Almeria can be easily reached by road. A-7 Mediterranean Motorway (Autovía del Mediterráneo) connects Almería to Murcia (220 kms) and Alicante (291 kms) and, to the west, to Málaga (201 kms). A-92 Motorway connects Almeria to Seville via Granada.

By plane

Almeria airport is located fifteen minutes away from the city centre. It has regular and charter flights to several national and European destinations. Regular flights connect Almeria to Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. International visitors may consider the possibility to come to Almeria via Malaga-Costa del Sol International Airport (214 kms), via Alicante-Elche International Airport (284 kms), or via Región de Murcia International Airport (218 kms).

By bus

Almeria is conveniently connected with all municipalities in the province and different Spanish and European cities. Coach services depart from Almeria daily to the most important capital cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Cordoba, Cádiz, Granada, Jaén, Málaga or Murcia. Purchase tickets online at www.alsa.es. By train
