Researcher in the Agri-food Engineering and Technology Area of IFAPA Center La Mojonera in Almería. He obtained his Agricultural Engineering degree and MD in Representation and Design in Engineering and Architecture from University of Almería. He is finishing the Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology and Industrial Bioprocesses. His research activity has been focused on the greenhouse technology and the design and development of a photobioreactors (PBRs) for microalgae culture. His main fields of research range from the modeling and improvement of greenhouse natural ventilation systems (using different techniques such as Computational Fluid Dynamics), design of new greenhouse prototypes, CO2 enrichment, greenhouse climate modeling and control, use of renewable energies in the greenhouse and study by numerical simulations of fluid dynamics and light regime in PBRs. He has participated in three International projects and three National projects.
