Received the Industrial Electronic Engineering degree and the Master in Advanced and Industrial Computing from the University of Almería, and the laurea in Ingegneria dell’Automazione Industriale from the University of Brescia (Italy). Nowadays, he is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, in the area of Automation, Industrial Computing, Robotics and Mechatronics of the University of Almería.

His research activity is mainly focused in modeling, optimization and control applications of solar-powered desalination systems. He has participated in one R&D project, and is currently participating in another one. He is co-author of 5 papers in SCI journals, and he has contributed to more than 10 national and international conferences.
