Another possibility is to travel through the international airport of Málaga (https://www.aena.es/es/malaga-costa-del-sol.html) where you can find more destinations and better rates. However, the bus from this airport to Almería does not have a high frequency.

d) Renting a car at Almería Airport

For those who would like to reach the city and explore the area on their own, a car may be rented directly at the airport. There are three car rental companies there: Goldcar, Europcar and Hertz.

e) Renting a bus at Almería Airport

For larger groups of passengers, the best option is to rent a bus at the airport. However, it is necessary to book it online, so the bus rental companies have enough time to advise you on the meeting point and all other information.
